There has been a huge shift in the alcohol drinks industry and culture since the pandemic, with No and Low options that have been on the rise since consumers have turned towards healthier living and conscious alcohol consumption. With this booze-free boom projected to grow more than 30% in 2024, it is set to be the future of low alcohol drinking.

A glaring recognition of how important our health is to us, and that we shouldn’t have to rely on alcohol to have a good time, but that you can still make delicious beverages without the hard stuff. However, health consciousness has predated the pandemic, and was progressively at odds with boozing. With mental health on the rise, our plan is to give would-be boozers some ‘cocktails for thought’ and provide our clients with more health conscious drink choices.

As sober-curiosity grows globally, it’s no longer cool to be seen consuming copious amount of booze. People are seeking moderation, not abstinence, and there is a clear need to push this category forwards and craft our cocktails with innovative ingredients to deliver healthier beverages for our clients events.

This movement has seen some incredible innovations in the NoLo category, and blends that not only stand up to their inebriating counter parts, but have their very own identities, with complex and bold flavour profiles.

Here are our top 5 favourite NoLo brands, if you’re looking to celebrate, socialise or unwind with a delicious (low alcohol) beverage.

Sipsmith FreeGlider

Sipsmith FreeGlider

London’s beloved distillery, the Ginnovators, the swans, the sippers, whatever you like to call them, they are the ones who have pioneered the rebirth of Gin production since they came onto the scene in 2008. It’s no wonder they are ahead of the times and jumped onto the NoLo band wagon by creating their FreeGlider non-alocholic spirit. This is their gin’s flattering cousin and is beautifully delicate, complexly floral, with the unmistakable companionship of Juniper. A refreshing, reviving tipple that transports you immediately to that first day of Spring. Topped up with your tonic of choice, or replaced in the usual gin shoes of any classic cocktail, FreeGlider tells its own delicious story, so go fourth and be liberal with your measures on this one.

Noughty Sparkling Wine

We love Noughty, who have seemingly done the impossible in crafting an alcohol-free bottle that delivers on every element of a top of the range sparkling wine and more. They do it without a trace of animal product, and use only organic and ethically sourced ingredients leaving it completely spotless of added sugar. It’s delightfully crisp and with the unmistakable sharp Chardonnay charm, Noughty will leave you wanting more and feeling like you’re drinking the real deal. Aecorn Aperitif

A firm leader in the NoLo aperitifs category, this one is certainly for the mature of palettes.  It’s a guaranteed favourite of any bartender, which is why you may find it sold out on occasions.
